Twist-off metal lug caps and closures
The full twist-off range, from 30mm through 89mm, in deep, medium, regular and angular profiles — with a vacuum safety button wherever the pack needs to show it has never been opened.
The cap grade is chosen against what happens after filling, not before it. Standard caps suit non-aggressive products such as honey, jam and pickles. Aggressive caps handle high-acid products like gherkins, baby corn and ginger, where the pack is pasteurised at 100°C for 45 minutes. Retortable and BPA-NI caps are specified where the filled pack is retorted at 121°C and 14.7 PSI for 32 to 45 minutes. PVC-free lining compound is available across the range.
Thirteen diameters run from 30mm to 89mm, across eleven constructions: deep, medium and regular twist-off, with or without a vacuum safety button, plus stepped, angular and extra-deep profiles. Non-standard 58mm, 63mm and 74mm are available where a legacy jar needs matching.

Vacuum safety button
A visible and audible indication of pack integrity the first time the container is opened. The button pops up once the original seal is broken, so the shopper can see and hear that the jar is intact — available down to a compact 30mm medium twist-off, a format very few closure makers offer.
