Forming film selection is a trade between barrier and form-ability: plain PVC forms cleanly and costs least, PVC/PVDC and triplex add moisture barrier, and cold-form alu-alu gives an effectively absolute barrier but constrains cavity geometry. Your stability data and your cavity depth decide it together.
Blister films run in a Class 100,000 clean room at more than 1,500 tons per month; lidding foil runs at 350+ tons per month with up to six-colour print. Both ship with the specification and certificates your QA needs to release them.
